Reflar – brot úr einkalífi 2002 – 2012
12. 01. 2013 - 10. 02. 2013

Opening Saturday 12th of June at 5 pm.

The exhibition consists of installations resulting from the collaboration of Ms. Halldórsdóttir and Mr. Tryggvason. The installation includes text pieces, sound and kinetic works that form a narrative with rhythm and words, drawn from correspondences and conversations that have taken place in more than a decade between the two creators. Encounters, everyday scenarios and events will be re-told in a private alphabetic code presented for the viewer to decipher and get a glimpse in to the formation of a friendship.

This is the first joint exhibition of Ms. Halldórsdóttir and Mr. Tryggvason but their encounters and communications have played a vital role in the development of ideas reoccurring in both their works in the course of the latest years

The exhibitions's catalog gives the viewer the means to engage in the secret messages and the notion is further explained with the exhibitions philosophical approach in a text called “Threads and the savage orgies of the mind"
