Flat Earth Round Tables - Vind Auga/Wind Eye

Two Exhibitions Opening at Kling & Bang on Saturday, April 18 at 4:00 PM
Wind Eye features works by Sara Björg Bjarnadóttir, and Flat Earth Round Tables, a duo show by Reto Lauthold og Paul Lipp.

In Wind Eye at Kling & Bang, Sara Björg works with air, light and sound as primary materials, shaping them into conditions that are not only seen but felt. The exhibition moves through a series of windows, engaging elemental forces that pass through them. The works then unfold through the dynamics of outward expansions and inward pulls, and these opposing forces create a shifting experience of expansion and contraction where the visitor's body is constantly adjusting.

Sara Björg Bjarnadóttir is an artist working with sculpture, installation and performative sculptures. Her practice is site-responsive and process-based, developing through an ongoing dialogue with space and material. Starting from physical encounters such as architectural conditions, she explores how internal systems, movement and sensory perception shape experience.

Lipp & Leuthold is an artist duo consisting of Reto Leuthold and Paul Lipp. Both artists studied at HGK Lucerne and have worked as freelance artists since the mid-2000s. Their creative work focuses on a collaborative process where painting and sculpture merge into a single whole. In their works, differing tendencies meet where the personal collides with the chaos of the political of everyday life–as well as with each other–in an unpredictable interplay.
