Christoph Schlingensief has past away. Kling & Bang and other Icelandic artists were so fortunate to work with him and to get to know him, while working with him on the "Animatograph" at KlinK and BanK. The project "Animatograph" was the beginning of a great project, that travelled to many places and took on many shapes and forms, using various media.
From Iceland he took the project to Germany, Vienna and Africa where it became a really large project, "the Opera village", that we hope will be fully realized in the near future.
Christoph you inspired us all and we will never forget you!!!

born 24th of October 1960, in Oberhausen, Germany, died 21st of August 2010.
