In a house named Ackermannhof, at St. Johann Vorstadstrasse in Basel, Mr. Petri set up a print shop in the year 1500. Were there was continuous printing, and printing, and printing until 2002. In 1994, my father Dieter, and I were lucky enough to acquire the old bookbinding hall in Ackermannhof. There the family Roth had their Swiss base up until 2008.
This exhibition is a small “Homage” to Ackermannhof.
